I bought this unaware of what the alternative side of the blades looked like. I attached a picture of both sides and as you can see one side is natural light wood and the other is light as well with a design. I like both sides. When the lights are switched on the design on the glass fixture sparkles very pretty and leaves a nice bright design on the ceiling. My husband installed it without any trouble. It was perfect for the small living space we needed it for and I would absolutely recommend!Fan works well, looks nice. Already blew a bulb though.Decent ceiling fan. Inexpensive and looks good. Bright lights. But very little breeze, really, and wobbles quite a bit when running on high. Still...it was pretty cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.
