Four Seasons 75257 Cooling Fan Assembly - Replacement for HVAC Systems | High-Performance Cooling Fan for Home & Commercial Use | Durable & Energy Efficient

I installed this fan in my 99 Mustang and it fit fine just like stock. However, it was extremely noisy, well beyond the sound of the original. I’ve only used the car occasionally during the couple of weeks that the fan has been installed but each time I have, even with all the windows rolled tightly up, the loud clicking sound has been extreme and similar to the sound that kids make by pinning playing cards to their bicycle spokes. Additionally, whenever the windows have been rolled up there is an overwhelming smell of burnt plastic coming through the vents. Obviously the fan was defective so due to this I’m having to remove and replace it. Naturally, by the time i got the fan installed and the problem became apparent it was too late to return the fan and get a refund but at least perhaps this review can help someone else avoid the same type of situation.
