Quorum International 143306-6 Estate 30IN Patio Ceiling Fan is a popular choice with the uncomplicated Gloss White finish among those wishing to add classic comfort to their patio. This fan is ideal for smaller spaces, but with six White ABS blades, still creates a just-right breeze. The 143306-6 is 12IN high using the shortest down rod included and it has a 25-degree blade pitch and a durable 153mm x 12mm motor size. The energy used on high speed is only 53-watts and it has airflow of 3690 cubic feet per minute with an airflow efficiency of 69 cubic feet per minute per watt. The 143306-6 comes one per package, includes 6 White ABS blades, one 3.5IN and one 6IN down rod and is operated using a pull-chain that will work the 3-speeds and reverse. Optional controls are available and can be purchased separately (not included): 7-3000 Hand-Held remote, 7-1401-0 Hand-Held remote, or 7-1305-0 Wall Control. I initially bought 2 of these in 2010 for a roofed screen porch less than 50' from saltwater and in the path of the prevailing offshore breeze. They lasted 8 years until hurricane Irma took out one of them. I was amazed how well they coped over the years so I ordered another 2 as replacements.Both my sets needed balancing. I let the first set wobble as the breeze typically moved them anyway. This set I got in balance, walked away for a few minutes and one fan was wobbling again. That's the way its staying. If anyone thinks the smaller diameter and additional blades make things easier, think again. Less a star for the required balancing. In these days of CNC machining, manufacturers should be able to build to print and not have a need for balancing.
