I bought my first of these probably around 20 years ago to put under my desk in a large family room with one heating vent that didn't really heat the room well. Desk faced an outside wall so I was always freezing. What I found was that these tiny heaters work better than much larger, supposedly "stronger" space heaters. I don't know the measurements of the room but I actually could not run this at the highest heat level because the room actually got too hot. Without measuring it, I think that room could accommodate at least a dozen twin beds if you didn't need to walk anywhere, lol. I did find that they work more consistently and heat better if you leave it at the highest temperature with the adjustable knob and the lower heat setting with the knob that navigates between the fan and the heater settings. If you live anywhere hot like TX that fan isn't good for anything but keeping your bath from steaming up when people shower. I've kept one in my bathroom for around 20 years so it isn't so cold in winter months and to deal with the steam issues.
